Completing tonight’s update, and the ode to a Winter Wonderland:
Snow Tracks Lariat • lemon chrysoprase | druzy agate | 16” chain
Frozen in Pine Cuff • Opal Doublet | hand sawn pine | brass accents | 5.75” cuff
Ice Bloom Studs • Pink Quartz | sterling silver
Finding my rhythm after too much time away from the bench started a little rocky, but I quickly fell back into a quiet cadence of the work and am quite proud of how this little update turned out. I hope you all feel the same. See you tonight!! 7pm EST
One of the first earring designs I made were turquoise and porcupine quills.. I think I made about 20 pairs before retiring the design, feeling like I could do it better. 5 years later- I have taken the bones of the old design, turquoise beads, large porcupine quills that were sitting in an old box and silver tubes crafted to look like .22 shells to create these fierce looking earrings that I am very thrilled about.
Also hot off the bench • this stoic winter scene encapsulated in a thick bezel of sterling silver. Ivory variscite and soaring hawk under a full sun on the reverse.
Size 9.5. Simple and well stated.
Available this Thursday 7pm EST

Some things I have been doing lately to feel grounded in the world today:
•Being outdoors. A lot. In many forms.
•Reading
•Staying informed
•spending time with friends
•Learning how to knit
•Having more intentional conversations
•Cooking new recipes
•Educating myself on how to vote in line with my beliefs.
•being fully present in the studio
•snugging my little family by the woodstove
•making moves for our future
•enjoying life’s little bits of magic
•Calling the NH reps
Here are a couple of wares that were crafted from a moment I had in the woods about a month ago. I was walking on a trail I’d been to dozens of times, rounding a corner- I stopped in my tracks. Before me the sun was hitting the freshly fallen snow perfectly.. vibrant bursts of blue, orange, pink and purple were all laid about like gems on the surface. I stayed a while and just marveled at how vivid and abundant the colors were. A little bit of magic in what was an ordinary day.
Available next Thursday with a handful of others
After an incredibly picturesque and sporty mountain bike ride yesterday we made our way back into town to check out @coppercanyonlapidarysedona
We got to spend a few hours with the owners and lapidarist, Mike and Courtenay. They kindly let us into the workshop, office and showroom and equally shared our enthusiasm at the treasures we came across. Mike even cut some cabs of rare Maw sit sit for us while we were there!
It was an absolute joy to pour over their collection… talk jewelry, listen to their knowledge of the craft and share the love of all things Grateful Dead. Feeling super lucky to go home with my own little stash of cabs from them. As well as a slab of burro creek agate, local to the area!
If you find yourself in Sedona, I encourage you to stop by.. and if not, their collection can also be found on their website!
We are headed to the Arizona tomorrow for 8 days of mountain biking, hiking, rock shopping, and adventuring in the Southwest! Ready to soak up some desert weather before settling back into a hopefully very snowy winter at home. (Any Sedona or Flagstaff recs, let me know!)
we’ll be back just in time to dive head first into all the holiday celebrations with our loved ones.. with some very needy pitties in tow. I will also be teaching my first “one on one” metalsmithing instruction! I am so excited to get back into a teaching role and share this craft I love so much.
*Any orders made after today are not guaranteed delivery before Christmas but… I’ll be back creating in the new year with some new wares for you all and am very much looking forward to what 2026 has in store for us!
Photo is a throwback to the last time I was in the desert with @photocait ♥️
Most of the time my inner artist and business woman work together great. Other times, they’re at odds… the artist in me wanting to create unabashedly, take chances, make something weird or extremely different just because, just to see if I can. Meanwhile the business woman in me second guesses the design choice. tries to scale back on materials for cost or thinks taking the leap is too extreme, “what if it never sells?”. This necklace is a good example of that quarrel.. I took a chance, let the art lead the design and didn’t care how far out of the box of my usual work it went. Both the artist and the business woman in me are better for it.
Ditsy floral Necklace • Lemon Chrysoprase | turquoise | sterling silver - crafted after my love of retro floral patterns. Chain length 15”-18”.

Two necklaces with two gorgeous pieces of Jasper and one groovy design.
I was looking for a fun style every day wear and am excited with how these turned out. Sometimes finding consistent time to get into the studio is tough, but it is always worth it!
These and more will be coming atcha’ in tomorrow’s update! 6pm EST
When you go off the rails a little more each time the video didn’t turn out how you envisioned and end up scrapping the whole plan.
Sometimes that’s just how it goes! ✨👍
Pre-teen me would be thrilled to know I'd still be digging retro vibes at 38. Back then: blow-up furniture in my room with lava lamps, beaded curtains and incense always burning while devouring 60’s media.
Today: my furniture no longer deflates yet the affinity with mid century modern design remains and I love letting a little funk seep into my craft. These earrings are no different featuring mother of pearl, jade, and hand carved citrine. A little elegance, a dash of funk and Available next Tuesday.
